<p> 晚间睡眠头部呈卧位使窦内脓性物难以排除而积蓄，晨起头部呈直立位，使脓性物积留于窦底和窦口，借重力和微弱的纤毛运动逐渐排出，其过程缓慢并使窦内产生负压甚至真空。因此，脓性物的刺激加之"真空性"头痛致早晨即出现头痛，并逐渐加重，持久。午后窦内脓性物逐渐排空，无论脓性物刺激或窦内"真空"均获改善。故午后逐渐缓解和消失。</p>
