Who are happier, modern people or people in the past?  

Well, people in the past were happier than today I think. Because life in the past is fairly simple and they didn’t have many difficulties to overcome. The living environment in the past was more clean and safe than today and people were in a harmonious environment. However, people in the modern society face all kinds of competition so I think people in the past lived a light-hearted life.
